Tyler was born with Cerebral Palsy. a condition in which the prognosis usually involves a wheelchair, mental retardation, blindness and seizures. Through his faith in Jesus Christ, Tyler has never let any medical diagnosis, statistic or the negative attitudes of others stop him from dreaming and achieving his goals. When Dr. Rajesh Kesavan started his podiatry practice in 2005, he was the first and only podiatrist in Chennai. He pioneered podiatry field of medicine and has written a number of papers and trained other doctors in the field of Podiatry.

Early Career

Born in a middle class family on March 11, 1974, Dr. RK is a soft spoken man who excelled in his school education. He did his initial schooling in St. Peters School in Royapuram, Chennai where he ranked school first in his 10th examinations. Later, doing his high school in KC Nadar School in Washermanpet, Chennai, he got selected to pursue his MBBS in Stanley Medical College, Chennai.

Introduction

Prof. (Dr) Tarun Kumar Sahni is Head of Hyperbaric Medicine and Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine at Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. He is widely regarded as the pioneer of modern hyperbaric medicine in India. He is also the Founder and CEO of Advent Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.

A graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, Dr. Sahni holds an MD in Medicine from Mumbai University and a Diploma in Marine Medicine from Mumbai. He also holds a CDM (UK) and has undertaken an ambulatory care programme at Harvard. He began his career in the Indian Navy and later worked in the UK and UAE.

In 2000, he established the first private hyperbaric centre in India at Apollo Hospital, Delhi. He has authored over 50 articles, book chapters and international presentations, including a landmark international publication on high-altitude dives in Lake Pangong at 14,200 feet, work on hyperbaric oxygen therapy in traumatic brain injury, and a book chapter on wounds and radiation oncology. He received the Blackbuck Clinical Researcher Award in 2025.

Dr. Sahni is the Founder and President of the Hyperbaric Society of India, Vice President of the Asia Pacific Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Society, and Past President of AHDMA. He serves as a DMM Examiner, MCI Inspector and DNB teacher.

Dr. Tushar D. Rege is a diabetic foot surgeon and the Founder & Director of DFC India (Diabetic Foot Clinic), an initiative dedicated to the treatment and management of diabetic foot conditions. He holds an MS in Surgery along with a Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery from MUHS (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences).
